Heavy Ammo Synthesis - Suggestion
Since you (Bungie) have acknowledged there is something wrong with the way heavy ammo drops in the game, how about giving us a break and making heavy synthesis a little cheaper? like the price of special ammo? 2 wax idols etc... nothing worse than spending 950 glimmer (Glimmer? really? you chose Glimmer as the name?) on a synthesis, using it, dying, then re-spawning with 5 rockets instead of the 7 you previously held. (My precious!)
Or better yet, have them always available from gunsmith for the same price Xur sells them at. (JK Xur doesn't sell them anymore.. or so it seems).
Anyone else got any suggestions on this topic? I'd be interested in hearing them.

Super easy fix.. Start up the wakening mission (heroic modifier), right before you get to the crystal kill the hive majors (leave one if you want to kill the ogre) then kill yourself or let the add kill you. Rinse and repeat 100s of black wax idol for maybe 2 hours of farming. Put some music on and jam out with your clam out!!

1 ReplySomething certainly needs to be done. Judging by the interview they posted with one of their devs they are hard at work, but in the meantime they could sell it cheaper like you said.
