I suggest being able to have New Monarchy, Future War Cult or Dead Orbit Reputations applied to you even without wearing one of their class items. Perhaps you have to pay a fee in order to get a certain class item you want to gain rep toward a specific faction. I have a few class items that I LOVE but I cannot wear them since I want to gain rep for activities I do for my faction. This decision could also be reversed for the same or a higher fee.
