Destiny vs Warframe.

Pros cons. Warframe-Free on xbox one. Destiny- Finding new ways to take more of your $$ Warframe- Tons more weapon selection (shotgun, rifle, sniper, pistol, bows, energy weapons, multiple classes of mele weapons)(and thats just off the top of my head)With multiple variations of each gun. Destiny. Auto rifle, scout, pulse, fusion, shotgun sniper, rocket, machine gun) Warframe- you are in a ship in loading screen BUT you can fly it around and customize the colors of it. (Also has a loding status bar) Destiny- Looking at your ugly ship Warframe-Chat options. Xbox party chat, game chat, and also there is text chat with the tabs. Clan,Alliance,Region,Recruting,Trading Destiny- Fireteam chat, and xbox party chat (which usually dosent work anyway) Warframe- This is the big one here guys, 22 different classes!!! All of them are different, with different skills and stats, Looks and pros and cons. Destiny-Warlock,titan,hunter Warframe-MODS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mods are upgrades you cant put into your warframe, primary, secondary, companion. Meaning there are multiple builds for each class, and weapon. The sky is the limit. Destiny- Cookie cutter guns, with 6 interchangable stats that do not effect anything that could possibly be build related. Yeah theres grinding in Warframe, and no its not a "open world as destiny calls itself" But when you have 14 planets to choose from with some having 20-30 nodes on a planet its also huge aswell. This is all i ask, play warframe for a hour or 2, and then go back to destiny and you will see the truth about what destiny really is. If you dont have next gen. Watch people play it on youtube. Have fun doing the same raid you have been waiting months for, thats just a little harder now. Grinding for that gear to kill the same enemy that drops the same stuff. All add more as a i go.

  • I've played the game for more than a few hours so I think it should show quite plainly to you when I say that the most defining feature for what sets the two games apart is the AI. In war frame the mobs have some very basic programming they might find some cover and try and shoot out of it from time to time but that's the most you can expect. In destiny you see the mobs do some very interesting things like seek cover and only attack en masse and even avoid grenades by teleporting and throwing up a shield. Sure warframe has a deeper level of customization but if I can recall what I was reading in the chat channel before I figured how to turn it off, it also had a horribly inflated economy. As for the map designs you generally had a few different environments and a few dozen pieces that are randomly arranged. So you can have environments that are similar, but not familiar. As far as difficulty scaling for both games I found that warframe had a much steeper curve than destiny. Since I felt like I needed to be nearly the max level just to solo a much lower level mission. Granted the game is sometimes a plesent change from destiny. But after two or three days I tend to be more than glad to go back to destiny.
