Iron Banner 3.0 feedback

Iron banner improvement ideas: 1. No JIP. Get rid of it. It’s a tournament to show your skill. Lobbies to form matches, quitting a match awards penalties, ect. 2. Bracketed matches. With the current loot system being what it is, 32’s should only be playing 32’s. 31’s should only be playing 31’s. So on and so forth. It’s about a level playing field. You can’t give level 20’s and 25’s similar shots to those who leveled up their gear by placing them on the same teams. I lost three matches in a row because of a 20 going .07, a 25 going .11, and a 28 going .39 yet I've not seen one 31 Titan, Warlock, or Hunter so far under perform those three AND didn't contribute more assists per match. It is not fair to ANYONE they are allowed to compete in a bigger status bracket when they simply cannot compete at that level. Would you ask a young kid to play football with a bunch of kids who are a lot older then him? Probably not. The idea of giving people random choices and awards based on those choices is something I’ve watched many PC shooters struggle over. In the end, you’ll find most PC games really boil down to weapon schematics and weapon usage. Not defense ratings or armor calibers. Per the faction armors, there is no excuse for someone not to be level 31 if they put enough time in here. I can respect 32's at this point, but this is also why I don't want to compete in Iron Banner much anymore. Give them the same shot of beating a hand cannon IB user of the same level. Because you can bet the real reason I went 1.10+, 2.00+, and 2.00+ is because of Thorn walking over those guys. They had no chance once I saw they were on screen, trying to fly away or get back around a corner. It's a 2sk kill, 1sk from The Last Word hip fired. Literally no chance in hell of surviving. Give Iron Banner a shot with this possible addition. If we can only find those who are your own level, you’ll find the complaints will shift more towards how Iron Banner’s original promising of greatness at beating others with level advantages to what a level truly means when you do a raid or story mission as well as play normal crucible: What weapons you brought to the fight. Not your armor rating. 3. As with other home field advantage perks? Make maps for Iron Banner which actually PLAY to a class. This may sound weird, but hey, why not get creative with this while I can? Iron Banner map ideas: Freefall Heights. Hunter specialty. A map built around being able to triple jump or double jump from various platforms or areas to one another. Long and narrowed caverns like on Venus where hunters can quickly and easily dispatch players due to rocky formations and blade dancing capabilities. Spacedrome. A warlock/Hive wizard specialty. Long sightlines, passages which gradually get bigger (symbolizing a warlocks mind and how it can expand or contract as needed and also as per established Lore in any Sci-fi anything) with a giant dome in the center meant to show maximum space magic blast radius. Crater. Titan specialty. Small sized craters deep and rigid with long tunnels like on Mars. You can either blast a crater... Or form an impenetrable shield around one to block all fire and protect your team. You decide. Trench warfare at its finest. 4. Catalyst jumps. Rewarding people with temporary stat increases for winning Iron Banner matches or performing extraordinary tasks. We have temperance. Another idea for status boost is 1.5x Reputation modifiers for a single match. 5 coins, consumables, for winning 3 matches in a row. Managed to go 3.0 or higher? Let’s go ahead and give them a token of the Iron Lords. What does this token do? If you get five, you are guaranteed a legendary weapon you can only get for doing well in IB. These are just four ideas for consideration. Hope you like them. As for discussion, what would you guys do to Iron Banner?
