A Rubbish Loot System and Mind-numbingly Repetitive Experience!
I hand in a purple package and get blues every time.
I can't do the nightfall and the raids cause I don't have friends who play [i]this[/i][i] particular [/i]game. The only chance of a decent item is from the CryptFart (unless I buy some Vendor items, which is where 99% of my gear is from). It is rubbish.
There is literally no incentive to play this game. I grind for hours and hours in the Vanguard and get scrap ... literally. I don't even get shards, which means it literally takes me ages to upgrade items ... I have to spend my hard earned marks on gear to dismantle in order to get shards to level up ... so I can't even buy cool weapons with the marks. Ridiculous!
Bungie won't fix it. It is clear that they want to make this grind as miserable, and depressing, and drawn out as possible. Deej is about as good as a wet rag in dealing with this issue and putting it to the big guns at Bungie. All the reviews comment on how useless the loot system is and how the game lacks content and diversity to make the grind enjoyable. 'We're listening'. My backside!
I've put a lot of time into this game in the hope of becoming 'legend' ... when I am in fact a mediocre clone of everyone else, doing the same thing over and over again, in the same places. Great game Bungie!
Score? 4/10. Sure, the graphics and shooting are awesome (8/10) ... but everything else is a 4/10.
[b]Edit 1:[/b] So I played for about 3 hours today in the ROC and got two ascendant materials for my trouble. This game is not worth the effort.

You never get anything? I've got to see this for myself. Let's do a couple days of gaming together. I've had some dry spells for sure but normally I've been getting a pretty steady flow of good items.

If the loot system in Destiny was just a little rewarding, ever so slightly. I mean doing better in crucible or strikes has better chance at good loot or you have better chance of finding exotics you haven't found yet. I'd call this game good. But the way it is, yes... literally mind numbing.

Picking up a couple people in the forums or on lfg sites would probably help alot. You can get decent crap in the nightfall/raid if you run it every week. I'd recommend giving that a shot before giving up on the game man, playing with people makes the whole thing a little more enjoyable.

3 RepliesThe public events are good for shards & energies. Bungie have supposedly patched it now so you get something for each gold tier +1 weird coin per day. I feel your pain though, pray to the RNGesus.

1 ReplyI use to be in that same situation until I finally bought a mic and looked in the forums to recruit people. This games a lot of fun and I know the loot system is horrible but you just gotta deal with it like I did. I'm always in the top 3 of crucible games while other people get exotics lol. Who cares though just have fun and if you don't like the game return or sell it. You don't need to bash on this game just cuz you can't get what you want. There are thousands of people probably just like you.

8 RepliesThe stupid legendary packages. Either they need to fix the postmaster or fix the Cryptarch or do something. My last 3 or 4 shiny purple packages were equal to yours. Rolled a nice blueberry pancake. The game is definitely starting to wear and many of us are stuck until HoW. :/

Do some raids go on the recruit page do pvp its fun after a wile iff you say you done all the raids on all youre characs and you got all the marks you can get and mean all of them pve/pvp nightfall/weekly bounty s its every time over and over again Treu , then just take a break

1 ReplyEdited by LONE RONIN2012: 1/14/2015 4:49:38 AMRun your lvl 30 hunter in lvl 30 daily strikes, and the other two at the lower lvls. This should start giving you shards, and energy. Then lvl your Warlock to lvl 30 and double run lvl 30 daily strikes. You should have little to no problems soloing them, and I do all the time. Just be cautious, patient, and learn the maps and spawn points.
