Bungie sucks and is overrated base jumping is much cooler.

Bungie forcing players to play the way they want us to play. Loot cave for example; It's patched because bungie didn't want us to waste our time shooting caves all day long. I wonder what happens if we all just go to skywatch and sit /dance there and do nothing. I am sure it will be patched too. Bungie will be like "Sorry guys, we see you all wasting your time sitting and dancing in skywatch. We will add a timer. You'll be moved to orbit if you sit/dance longer than 1 minute" XD

Destiny is not a crappy game, why would so many people play it? It's not perfect but it's a great game to enjoy with my friends. If you don't like it than just quit playing instead of hating on the people who work so hard to make the game and please you!

And that is exactly why this game is crap. The devs are holding the players at gunpoint dictating them how to play and there is nothing no one can do about it.

Of course, Activision cares about maximizing profit - and yes, they do go to some extreme means to ensure that. But, at the same time, they are smart. You do not have to like them, or the way they operate, but they are looking at the larger picture, too. Activision absolutely knows that changes need to be made to entice people to continue to part with their money over the coming years in this franchise. There will be big and positive changes, almost without doubt. Any company knows that satisfying more of its customers will result in more positive cash flow, and they are no different. If anything, Activision underestimated the expectations of Bungie's fanbase, and will absolutely take steps to change it. The bigger problem is that changes that fundamentally large do not happen overnight. Could those changes be made in what we have today? Certainly, they could. But it is not a sound economic choice. Hate them for it or not, but making those large changes now will only make people happy for the short-term. Any good will earned from a move like that will be forgotten just as quickly when dates for future commitments start to slide. The position that Activision is in right now is to choose between riding out the storm and focusing the changes in Destiny 2 (or even as early as the Comet, perhaps) or potentially put everything on hold just to change direction completely. The effort in changing direction is even more expensive (in terms of effort) than integrating change over time. It leaves us in the dark, but it is absolutely foolhardy for anyone to think that Activision isn't keenly aware of the criticism being levied against the game. It is not just Bungie's reputation, it is Activision's, as well. People are too quick to lay blame on the doorstep of Bungie. While not in this industry, I am all too aware of what a developer/publisher contract entails. All too often, it ends up becoming a situation where the suits outnumber the working stiffs, and those who should have more say are marginalized. Things will change. Things will get better. The question really is around how much damage is already done. Destiny 2 could be everything that people wanted, and more - but some of those bridges have already been burned.
