An analogy for the weekly DLC arguement

For those who don't seem to understand, I'll use halo as an example: Halo 5 has a new map pack available, whoopee. Now you'd expect 343 to make a new playlist especially for this map pack right? But they don't, instead they put it on a rotation and every few weeks another playlist like BTB or team slayer is replaced by a DLC playlist. Now Herp comes along and wants to play his favourite playlist: BTB. But oh teh noes, it's been replaced by a DLC BTB playlist and he's unable to play BTB all week. Sure he could play custom games but he can't increase his spartan rank in a customs lobby so he has a choice of leaving the game or doing other playlists he doesn't enjoy as much. Would you say this situation is fair on Herp, who bought the game wanting to play BTB and can't afford to get the DLC (Newsflash, not everybody is made of money and can fork out £20 whenever they feel like it). Clarification for the lesser minded: Map pack - Dark Below Playlist: Weekly/Nightfall Herp: Person who hasn't bought DB Custom Games: Vanguard playlist/standard strike missions Spartan rank: Weekly/Nightfall rewards Extra note: Is there anyone who hasn't bought the DLC and thinks the current setup is completely fair? I'd be interested to see how many there are.
