Picture This:

You're on patrol, those Dregs aren't just going to walk into your knife. You poke around the Mothyards, gathering Spinmetal as you chance across it, busting Dregs and their compatriots without pause. Suddenly, your Ghost pops a "Weather Advisory" upon your HUD. It comments, "Imminent blizzard in Cosmadrome. We better find some shelter, this could get bad." You post up in the carcass of an old aircraft, sniper rifle skimming the area. Soon the day turns bright white, and the blizzard is upon you. Visibility is zero, and you realize you were holding your breath. Several minuets pass, then as quickly as this weather started, it ends. The ground is snow covered, ornamented mental juts about fresh landscape. But, you now hear something...*thud, thud, thud, thud* Whatever it is, it's getting closer. "I'm getting Fallen chatter, something is here.", your Ghost says. Picture You jump up onto your makeshift shelter and almost immediately spy a Fallen Walker making giant tracks in the drifts of snow. "And I thought the blizzard was bad. Hold on, there's something...", as your Ghost works it out, and plasters "Defeat Fallen Walker" on the display. Frantically your Ghost says, "The Fallen have something in that Walker! They were trying to move it undetected in the blizzard. Stop them!" You tighten your grip on your gun, and unleash leaden hell upon the Walker. Soon after craters in the snow appear, hissing and steaming from the heat as you and it trade fire. The "Walker" is now moving out at a brisk jog, and something isn't right because all of it's legs are all still intact. You curse it's existence, and cure again as two Pike escorts proceed to pin you down. "I'm starting to think this is no ordinary Walker!", your ghost chimes in. You glare at it and without a word purvey, "You think?!" Your hope is renewed when you hear the familiar sound of three Sparrows. A roving fireteam enters the fray, and cuts off the Walker. Now you get your chance at the Pikes. *Boom! Boom! Boom!*, your sniper rifle thunders out. Three shots, two kills, "Gotta do better next time.", you think to yourself. You commandeer a Pike and close in on the Walker. You soon realize as the Pike's guns torrent against the Walker, that the legs are shielded! As if to add insult to injury, Fallen dropships bring reinforcements. You're running out of curses, and time. "We're going to need some help!", your Ghost insists. Your HUD prompts, "Friendly Air Strike Enabled". Without pause you call it in. About twenty of the longest seconds in your life pass before your friend joins your fireteam. He smugly says, "It pays to have friends with benefits...", as his jumpship fills the Mothyards with the roar of its engines, "...like with missiles for example.", then his ship hastily deploys a volley of missiles at the frantic Walker. The Walker retaliates with everything at its disposal. Your friend is forced to jump ship, and his ride limps back to orbit. "You owe me a new paint job.", he says. At last the Walker is on the ropes as it starts smoking and sparking. Then, as if on some invisible cue everyone bears their heavy weapons, and a symphony of destruction ensues! With the battle over, your ghost scans the wreckage of the Walker. "So that's what the Fallen were trying to keep from us! They somehow integrated a Golden Age prototype Lemniscate Barrier Core into this Walker.", your Ghost analyzes. "I don't know how we did it! Let's get back to the Tower, everyone needs to hear about this." /imagination
