These are people who will invest time into a story, look at the lore, and spend hours upon hours of exploring.
People who play Bethesda games are patient, gladly spending half an hour to organize their loot from a recent dungeon.
People who play Bethesda games put up with the tedious bugs and console restarts because they know that incident is sunken beneath hours upon hours of content.
If you don't like Bethesda or their games nothing is being held against you, but you obviously wouldn't know a good game if it hit you with a brick. (Or an arrow to the knee)
Edit: Mature, I.e maturity. Nothing to do about age.

I don't understand what the point of this post is. It's not like there's people that dislike Bethesda games, lol.
-
People should go check out the nth apple on YouTube, and check out his Fallout videos. He goes to different location through out Fallout 3 and NV and discusses the lore. Really grows your appreciation of the attention to detail and the amount of time Bethesda puts into their games.

My lil bro is no where even close to mature and he loves fallout...
-
No, you don't have to be mature to play/like Bethesda games. Skyrim was/is insanely popular. I doubt every person who played/plays that is mature. There are too many people for it to be like that.

I played fallout on pc some years ago. I played it for a very short time and then got distracted with I believe it was Diablo 2 on pc. At that time I remember it being slow and tedious. Last week I was at my sons house and I had him put in New Vegas (he likes fallout) to look at some gameplay. It was just like I remember, slow and tedious. But I will be keeping My eye on the forums to see how everyone is reacting to the game. If it's blowing away people , then I might jump into the fray. I hope it's everything everyone wanted with this game and more! Well soon find out

Preach it from the skies or Thu'um it from the skies

Bethesda is for not for players that worry what every choice they make will mean. I'm not cut out for that world!
-
Never played a Bethesda game, but after hearing everything about them over the years I am excited for Fallout 4.
-
You sir...just summarized all my playthroughs on Bethesda games. They are masterpieces that should be admired for hours. :)

I was so proud of my soul gem collection at the Balmora stilt strider location. Simply beauteous. Also every gen ever collected on the floor of my home in the shivering Isles.

Really? Is that what the bold 72-font "M" in the corner of the box means? I never knew.

Edited by SilverFire97: 11/6/2015 4:38:37 AMI feel like this is an attempt at satire, which is sad because the majority of Bethesda games are truly meant for mature audiences. The only other alternative to thinly veiled sarcasm is that you crossed the line between fan (great) into blind fanboy (not great), trying to turn clear flaws into things that should be praised. Edit
holy necro batman, didn't even realize.....
-
This is dumb, you are dumb. It' shouldn't take half an hour to organize loot.
-
I like Bethesda games a lot, but just cause someone doesn't like them doesn't mean they don't like good games. A game being 'good' is subjective.
-
Well DOOM!!!! That is all...
-
Judging from my gamer tag I'm probably not mature..........even though I've played the last 3 elder scrolls games, fallout new Vegas, and the first doom.
-
I put a lot of time organizing my little shack in fallout 3
-
Well spoken.
-
Ha that's sooo true

There is no reason for this to be here. I generally like Bethesda games, but there isn't a reason for it to be under #destiny, maybe #gaming. Also, their games are incredibly buggy and it definitely matters because each glitch ends up detracting from the experience, sometimes to the point where I just don't care to keep playing.

Necrobump

Full of lore and story? Yes... I'll agree with that. Full of bugs and glitches as well. Many games are, but the worst ones I've played in terms of bugs/ glitches have been Bethesda games.

Edited by Watty74: 12/18/2014 11:28:28 PMI'm a mature player, I've spent 50 odd hours bumbling around destiny and I've not even finished the story, I like to take my time, BUT, Fallout 3 bored me senseless.

What's the purpose of this? (Nothing against you or anything, I like Bethesda but why did you post this here?)
