Dearest Mother I am now a Guardian at the Tower on Earth. The view from here is incredible. I was assigned a Ghost to work with, it's said to be made from a fragment of the Traveler's light. Can you believe that? So far he's been really helpful. He helped me get a ship of my own and directed me to a few people in the tower. I know I am supposed to be doing something great but it seems like I have been running errands so far. There are a few Awoken here in the tower. Haven't spoken much to Commander Zavala much since he's the vanguard for the Titans and I am a hunter. Our vanguard, an Exo, Cayde-6, acts like he doesn't want to be here. Master Rahool, another of us, us trying to recover artifacts, but has the reputation of being an ass. Then there is the Dead Orbit representative, not sure about him. Well I need to go, something about something from the golden age that the Fallen are after. Dear Mother The moon is infested with Hive. They have an area where they were trying to summon a large ogre. We believe we know how the Hive have been interfering with the Traveler, I should be checking it out soon. I am really upset with some of the guys back home. Before coming out here they told me how humans greet each other and showed me what they claim are the best dance moves. Apparently they wave to greet, not bow. When I do the dance moves I get asked if I am drunk or crazy... Surprisingly the people hear don't care I'm an Awoken. I do hear from some other hunters about bias they see towards hunters. I haven't seen any yet. The Speaker is sending out a message, talk to you later. Dear Mom This is ridiculous, first some stupid Exo woman who won't give me her name expects my help with her problems. I know the Vex are bad, so I'll help, but sheesh. I asked her about the situation, and she dodged the question saying we don't have time. Then asks me to return to the Reef. Couldn't she talk to me while I flew there? Of course the woman acted as I didn't know who the Awoken are, I am one! Then she starts talking like she's talking to someone else. Supposedly a com line, but I think she's crazy and talking to her self. After that I return home to the Reef and get treated like a human. The Queen straight up acts like I am not an Awoken. Then she wants me to kill a Gate lord. Why should I care? Mom That stupid ghost is as stealthy as a metor bouncing off a building. Every time he offers to hack something he gets me attacked. Because of him we're at war with the Cabal. At least now the darkness is pushed back, but they are saying there is other threats. Something about a vex wanting to erase humanity from time. We also got some new crazy chick wanting us to stop a god from destroying Earth. Maybe Dead Orbit has it right. Don't think we can win by staying here.
