If you got the title, good for you. If not, let me explain.
As most may have noticed, there is some odd descriptions and item names out there. However, Bungie was sneaky enough to place a few easter eggs within them.
-- Heart of Praxic Fire: "Praise the Sun" ability.
All Dark Souls players should know this unforgettable line from the ever golden Knight Solaire of Astora
-- Ghost Angel Cloak: Description:
We are an army of the chosen dead.
The Chosen Undead being the main character you play as.
-- The start of the Crota's End Raid: Mission
After forming the bridge, a mission update comes up saying:
Traverse the Abyss
This is what Knight Artorias does after meeting with the Four Kings when trying to rescue the fair maiden Dusk of Oolacile.
My question to the Devs:
Who was the one branded with the Darksign? Whose great idea was it to build Destiny around one of the (on the first go) hardest RPG's on console? I always love it when games reference each other, especially when they are popular/awesome games. Come to see, it makes sense. Going to far out of the comfort zone will immediately result in death. Hope to see more references as updates come out. Maybe a bucket helm to go with HoPF?
Keep up the good work, regardless what anyone says, you will still have guardians behind you to fight. Whether we belong to Kaathe, Frampt, or the Speaker, we shall defend our home. Praise the Sun!
