Note: this is not a bladedancer is OP thread nor a complaint thread, these are just my observations.
Alright here's my thinking on this. With the bladedancer in crucible, does the invisibility aspects of it feel like a gimmick to anyone else?
You can still be spotted easily. It lasts seven seconds at maximum. Blink negates the effect. You have to take yourself out of the action to crouch to activate the effect which is buggy or has a hidden cool down timer.
I used to use bladedancer heavily in the crucible when all of this hit me. I'm sure there are plenty of people who get utility out of bladedancer, but to me, gunslinger offers more.

I just don't use invisibility. I use speed cool down with blink or backstab. Also hungering blade and encore are both better than invisibility.

Edited by a potato: 12/7/2014 8:30:40 PMBlade dancer concentrates many pvp-centered talents, far more than any other subclass combined. enhanced sprint and slide. quickdraw. blink. invisibility (and vanish) blink-strike all capped off with a super perfectly tuned for cleaning up entire, well-spread groups. It's like the rogue class from WoW.

It is great for ambushes , sniping, and shadowing a friend.

Yeah gunslinger offers more but it's just something about using that arc blade that makes you feel like a BAMF.
