What? Help me understand this. You all are okay that someone who starts playing destiny, say after Christmas, is able to go buy an exotic from Xur(the same exotic you have), level it completely once and spend one exotic shard? While you, after having spent more then 45 bounties that give you 5k experience each to level up your exotic all the way, have to now spend TWO Exotic shards to have the same damage output as some one who hadn't played the game for more then a week?(excuse my slight frustration but idk of any other game that takes away progress of an item or skill so that you can get a higher level of said item or skill). Yes, I understand that you don't have to reset your exotics and that you have a choice but let be real for a second. What happens when iron banner comes back around? Or when you get into Osiris' tournament(whenever that's released to the public) or when the hard mode raid comes out? To be on par with someone who could potentially has owned the game for less than a month and has a fully maxed exotic you have to do twice the work. AND YOU SPENT MORE TIME! I just don't understand the logic to this. I'm not really that upset at bungie because I'm sure they'll respond to the community on why they did it and if/how they will fix it but I'm more upset at the people who are saying "shut up and don't voice your opinions about it". Deej created a post asking what our thoughts are on the the info that they released today and from all that they HAVE released and we are letting them know.
