Special ammo needs tweaking in Crucible.

Now, I'm not the kind to complain, demanding nerfs or whatever, but it occurs to me that there maybe should be some small changes made to the way special ammo works in Crucible. Probably the most common complaints about PvP you see on the forums are people claiming that Shotguns/Fusion Rifles are OP (Sniper Rifles less so, but that's probably sue to the fact that they are impractical on most maps). I don't think this is really true, but I will agree that it is annoying to face a team entirely comprised of people exclusively using these weapons in the place of their primary weapon. That really isn't how the game should be played. Special weapons are meant to be situationally powerful, and give you the edge in certain engagements, provided you took the time to seek out ammo for them. Now, I don't think the solution is to nerf these classes of gun. Shotguns and Fusion Rifles are meant to be powerful, and should definitely OHK when used skilfully within their intended range bracket. The issue arises from the fact that special ammo is so plentiful, and you get to keep it on death, so there is often no reason not to use these weapons almost exclusively. On certain maps, almost all fights occur at close range, so why not keep your shotgun out all the time and save yourself the hassle of having to switch to it when you see someone? It's not like you're going to run out of ammo with all those crates everywhere. I think there is a simple fix for this 'issue', and that is to resent your special ammo on death, just like it does with heavy ammo. You start the game with a small amount of special ammo, and you should go back to that amount each time you die. This forces you to hunt down the ammo again if you want to continue using your powerful special weapon. I think is especially relevant in Control. As it is, say a team has capped two points and is now playing defence. They're camping those zones with Shotguns and Fusion Rifles. Now, say you bust in and take out two of their team before getting killed. As it stands currently, you've gained very little. You will respawn a way away, they respawn closer and run back, keeping all their ammo and ready to camp you again. However, if they lost most of their special ammo, they would now have to hunt down more; which may be difficult given that they will probably have exhausted all the crates in their portion of the map. It just seems like a logical solution that would encourage better gameplay and decrease people's over-reliance on special weapons. Players should be rewarded for using a variety of weapons in different situations, and for playing aggressively (not stupidly, but you should always be encouraged to seek out kills rather than waiting for them to come to you). It may require some tweaking; maybe to the spawn rate of special chests or the amount of ammo gained from each one, but I think it would be better overall. What do you guys think?
