Remove Ammo Penalty for Weapon Swap in PvE
While playing PvE I like to swap weapons for certain situations. The ammo depletion stinks especially in strikes, raids, story and public events.
I see no harm to remove this in PvE. It would make the game more enjoyable (IMO) if you could use different guns whenever you like without needing ammo synthesis or farm for ammo.
Removing the penalty would also need the D-pad to assign gun load outs or hot swap weapons.
What do my fellow Guardians think?

Honestly its a good thing. You need to adapt. Before every game you have the choice to swap weapons to suit the stage you are playing. Its not hard. Even if you don't get it done in time its no biggie to swap it out and kill a few and get the drops. Its called being prepared. The more you make this game easier the quicker you'll wreck what is left of it. I like a challenge. They made the single runs a bit harder and I enjoy it. It makes it interesting and makes you a better gamer. I'm up for a game mode where every bit weapon/amour slot can use an exotic. It would be unreal and great fun.

I never understood why bungie would make it so different bad guys need different guns and then steal your ammo when you try to play the way they say..... often it is cheaper to just grind the guy down with the wrong gun than pay the ammo tax.

I guess my guardian is like well swapping weapons better drop all its bullets for no reason at all!

Is ammo penalty would be removed, there would be few difference between this and infinite weapons like GTA...

It should be regulated but we should be allowed to swap. Like rockets to rockets or fusion to fusion. Once loaded into a launcher maybe you should lose a small % if changing weapons completely but not as much as you lose now.

Ice breaker would become much more handy in nightfalls. Generate ammo for your special.

yes this is a pain in the butt. theres times where certain strikes need differ weapons. like the raid I use my dead orbit void sniper it has 3 mag so when I get to atheon I like to switch it out to my final boss which hold 6 but then u loss ammo. and why xur not selling heavy ammo? dam now I gotta grind glimmer to stock up

Keep our ammo! Sometimes my 77 Wizard(fusion rifle) can't help me so I switch to my sniper but then I have no ammo in either! Please let us keep at least one clip per swap.

This is the main problem with not allowing us to have exotics in every slot.
