Stop listening to the morons you have been taking advice from!

For those who are instantly offended by the title, remember, unless you are in favor of all the crap Bungie is breaking, your not the one I'm talking about. if you are, then yes that's you. Bungie, the incredible level of ineptitude that is flowing from your company is staggering. The shear lack of intelligence is almost more than could be fixed, but I am willing to give you some advice to give you a possible chance of not driving the large stinking pile that is your company into the dirt. To even a person who is incapable of reading this, it should be glaringly obvious that you are not going in the right direction. To throw you a lifeline in hopes of you figuring out why people are so irritated with you, here are some suggestions: 1)Stop listening to the obviously incompetent morons you have been listening to. If these people are employed by you, fire them and recommend that they get a job with their name's and addresses on their shirts so that they remember who they are and where to go when they are done with work. 2)Stop nerfing things without actually getting peoples opinion on these items. You seem to like to nerf as much as possible and as was pointed out in your patch release, you don't like people playing the game in any other fashion than your dictatorial manner that you had pre-planned people to morph into. We don't do things the way others want us to, this is obvious as we are gamers. 3)Short of burning your company to the ground (figuritivly speaking, as actually doing so would make this post pointless) and starting from scratch, try listening to the players who are actually playing the game. We are intelligent people (for the most part) and will be happier with what the majority wants than with the large stinking pile that you are in the process of laying. 4)Unless it is management that is actually completely inept and they are the ones reading and deciding this (if it is, let me know and i will use smaller words), then it should be painfully obvious that people are not happy about the things you are doing. The simple and most straight forward way to fix it, CHANGE what you are doing. 5)this may seem to be a repeat of an earlier point, but because I'm not confident in your ability to retain important information, here it is again. LISTEN to your player base. we are the ones who decide if your company grows or dies. remember that. I tried to make this a poll, but I'm guessing Bungie doesn't want to know that people hate what they do. Just in-case I'm WAY off base here, here is a poll to let Bungie know what the majority actually think. So what do you think?

  • You made valid points but so much vulgar and emotions mixed in, thus this post will go no where. I suggest reposting when your not mad because it just seems like your mad and incompetent with this post.

    • One of the things that could definitely help is making the pve worlds more interconnected. right now none of the pve content is really connected to each other. make a random mission generator and npc towns (ie. the last city) so we can get missions from the locals. put a crafting system in where we can mod our weapons and armors with at least lootable items, but better yet, create the armor from the ground up. it's not exactly complicated game mechanics but the inter connectivity adds exponential game content. (If you have 6 different items that can go together into any combination, you have 63 different possibilities but adding a single new object increases the possibilities to 127 and so on) this is and has always been the easiest way to add loads of content with minimal work. it's what I call the toysRus problem. if none or very few of your toys work well together then you are forced to invent entirely new toys to sell. If you make your toys modular or work well with many things then you only need innovate something to make the first toy sell again. make sense?

    • I only understand the game from a gamer's perspective rather than from a developer's point of view. I think as a developer it's difficult sometimes knowing which plan of action to take when nearly the entire consumer base has opposing views on a controversial topic. I'm sure they are listening to their player base. The best they can do is take their words into consideration so that they can find some way to please the entire community.

      • Outside of lots of uninformed finger pointing, dafuq is the point of this post? I say uninformed, because you only have the perspective of a gamer (apparently upset). That's going to give you the bias of what your post is saturated with. I'm not saying everything in the game is perfect, but is this your first time playing a dynamic game of this scale? Improvements are coming. You need to exercise patience and provide suggestions for what you'd like to see. Your last post offered nothing in regards to feedback.

Outside of shooting mechanics, Destiny is absolute crap. Might as well be shooting at balloons or apples or Naziessss because nothing I do in Destiny makes any sense.

          • Totally. I don't know where Bungie got the idea to add in a sparrow that can do tricks(EV-30 Tumbler, people had petitions for sparrow tricks before the game launched) and sell it as DLC. I wonder where Saturn went too....

            • I second this. Seems like the first and second strings stayed with 343 industries and all Bungie has left is the scrubs.
