[b]Comment below a weapon, class, or ability [i]YOU LOVE TO USE[/i] that you think is overpowered and could use Nerfing.[/b] It's a very common thing now; I'm not sure if anything exists that has not been asked to Nerf. I swear, all forumers want is for something to be lowered to their level of gameplay. Most of the time people are asking for something they know nothing about to be Nerfed all because it caused a death or two. You can't, in my opinion, ask for a Nerf to a weapon, class, or ability when you have never used it yourself. So I set up this poll. Do you agree that you need first-hand experience with an item before declaring a Nerf, or do you think being killed by that item is reason enough? Do you disagree with all Nerfs all together? [b]I would like to start something new as well. I call it honest Nerf requesting. If you'd like to participate, comment below a Weapon, Class, or Ability you use that you feel should be lowered in effectiveness.[/b] I'll start. I'd like to petition a Nerf request to the weapon [b]77-Wizzard[/b]. The impact and range are high, so getting kills with it makes me feel guilty. I'd also like to Nerf the [b]Voidwalker[/b] subclass, I have way too much fun blinking around and tossing Novabombs. I should be having less fun than I am while playing as a Voidwalker. Also, [b]Fusion Grenades[/b]. I spawn with two since I have Voidfang and Gift of the Sun, so I get double kills a lot, I hardly have to aim. It's fun though, too fun, you should Nerf the fun Im having.

  • I'll bite. I "thought" Suros (and too an extent most AR's) was OP until I used it. Then, after five minutes, I knew without a doubt in my mind that it was completely OP and needs nerfed. I don't think that you have to have first-hand use, per-say, but some sort of mathematical based evidence. In this case, I knew that I was (repeatedly) dying before I could even [u]fire[/u], not land, 3 shots from my scout rifle. This is an unbalanced weapon. That said, I like the design of Suros, and I get that it's meant to be a long range AR; and trying to change that makes it just another AR in another long line of AR's. I also, understand that any tweak you make to it will significantly impact it's performance. Which is probably why Bungie hasn't changed it yet. But something still needs fixed on this weapon.

    This shows half the people who voted on this have no idea how games like this run.... nerfs and buffs are needed and you will see them all throughout the span of destiny and destiny 2, and destiny 3. WoW is a really old game that still gets nerfs and patches. Also, yes you can know when a weapon needs to be nerfed without using it. Even if you dont own the weapon and you know its killing you faster than most guns, it takes nothing but a quick youtube search to know what vex and suros did before nerfs and what suros still does. But yiu really dont have to go that far, when you get killed in 3 hits by something, and you see the exact same gun thats killing you in 3 hits when most of the weapons of that type usually are more, then you can, the only reason its delicate is because of the nature of exotics, exotics are meant to be op but not op, and sime of them are just op. Like suros, i have the gun so im not just hating on it, it is op.

    • I would have to say to honestly revisit the shotgun. With my blink, I can just blink twice, confuse the crap out of the opponent, and put a shotgun blast into his back with ease. I actually don't even do this anymore, it wasn't fun killing no matter what. Maybe the range, maybe the fire rate, something to stop my reign of terror
