Now to the real stuff, a friend of mine contacted me today and told me that the serverlist was down again and that i should finally remake the serverlist. I had lost all my data and info on the serverlist and how i had recreated it beforehand, and that's when i found what i found. At first i thought that even Microsoft wouldn't go to this low of a level, but after rechecking i was shocked.
This will probably be all denied but inside of halo 2 is a loop that goes every once and awhile to some "Advertising Sites" like Http://turn.com or http://zedo.com and http://ru4.com. When i saw that these were in there i was like "LOLWUT" the funniest part of it all was they tried to hide this information by combining the websites url forwards and backwards Ex.(moc.evil + live.com). here is a like that has the data straight from the memory (http://pastebin.com/zTi9zPvG),
So i want to hear from GFWL why they are putting *** like this inside of there games and then say that its a persons fault that there games are lagging, when its in fact the game going to a bunch of advertisers for money.

Edit your hosts file to block these IPs:
127.0.0.1 ru4.com
127.0.0.1 turn.com
127.0.0.1 zedo.com
127.0.0.1 w55c.net
127.0.0.1 abmr.net
Posted by: DusK Can anyone confirm that blocking these sites in your hosts file works?
It'll cause the domains to resolve to your loopback IP, thus causing any network traffic destined for those addresses to essentially hit a dead end. Again though, I wouldn't take these findings at face value. His post gave me the impression that he doesn't really know what he's doing.* *specifically the part where he built a master server emulator and then totally forgot how he did it.
