Ideas 4 a Better Destiny

I'll get straight to the point. I hope Bungie sees this and considered this request since I took the time to give my feedback. This is my wish list for Destiny, what I believe would make all of us happy and even stoked to play. The first one is sort of huge in my opinion, please consider it. • Bungie please analyze each characters subclass abilities and give us Greater Distinction and Effects for certain character sub class abilities. Example: some of the warlock sub class abilities become obsolete after you reach the next ability in its section, like the GLIDE section has (focused control), (Focused Burst) and then (Balanced Glide). It seems to me that focused control is obsolete once you have the later 2 unlocked etc. Balanced glide seems to be the best one because you have the speed and control in one. In my opinion Focused Control should give you extreme control to make it UNIQUE and allow you to stay in the air longer since it will obviously be slow. Focused Burst should give us a greater initial burst of speed, again making it unique, and lastly Balanced Glide should be just that, a mixture of both, instead of one being the ultimate choice. Sunsinger (Flame Shield) seems like it's always best because it keeps you alive when your in a pinch. Solar Wind should bush back more enemies and have a greater range of impact and longer reach; attacks that don't make contact, should blow back enemies like star wars force push but minimize the damage done. (Brimstone) I suppose is ok for PvE, however is the explosion really that worth it? I consider it just for show and a bit of extra damage if your in a pinch. Enemies should be thrown back by the Brimstone killing blow, and then fall to the ground and explode like a timed grenade---this would make brimstone much more attractive in my opinion and useful. The Warlocks Voidwalker class for example has the Nova Bomb ability (Lance), but why would I choose Lance when I can cover a greater range with (Shatter) since shatter splits into 3 and kills anybody caught in the blast in crucible or in a crowd of enemies?? Lance needs to be faster and more powerful in a smaller area. The Melee ability (Surge) just doesn't seem worth it to me, how much greater movement speed do you get, barely any. Same goes for Hunter class, triple jump makes double jump obsolete. The ability modifiers that add cool downs like the Bladedancers Melee ability (Fast Twitch) add very little cool down, often making them not worth it. Hunters (Fleet Footed) gave me a speed boost which I could barely notice, very disappointed, the increased slide distance was also lame, the slide should last longer to make it more pronounced and worth i, it could be so cool, currently it's meh. I just started a hunter so I can't give a lot of feedback on all characters but I think you get my drift. You Hunters and Titans out there, give your ideas for better class ability distinctions and effects. I'v noticed this issue with some weapons as well. The options in a specific section are so similar, sometimes it seems that one is always the better choice than the others. This is important because it gives our character load-out a much greater range of customization and will ultimately make the game more fun and interesting. I understand it takes time and balancing but to me, this kind of update would be worth it and could be a part of an expansion. • Faster ability switching, give us the classic in game ability selection wheel or interface to switch between abilities fast, like pulling up the ghost and still being able to see the battle field. You could make it work for just the super abilities, and melee, allowing us to switch faster for certain situations. Example: Want to take out a boss with a faster and greater Lance Nova Bomb, switch really fast by pressing down on d pad selecting ability type (Nova Bomb) then selecting (Lance) and then pressing down again on d pad to get back in the game! You can leave the ability descriptions for the menus screens, this second option is for those who know what they want and when they want it. • Easier trading system, to trade between our characters. It sucks to have to go to the tower, store items, switch back to the other character, go to the tower again, and pick up items. Can't we just integrate trading in the destiny app? That and or gift items to our other characters, and when we switch, the items are picked up as soon as your character is loaded in the orbit screen. • Better servers with greater stability • Exotic weapons like Bad Juju should have better abilities. Some exotics weapons just can't be matched, that's not really a good thing. There should be a uniqueness and usefulness to all that goes beyond flashing lights. • More things to use glimmer on • Greater distinction for faction armor. Currently, dead orbit, Future War Cult and Monarch look the same!?? That's all I can think of for now

  • How about a new special/heavy weapon, like a target designator that summons your ship? Special targets a small group or single enemy and sprays them/it with rounds. Heavy carpet bombs a large area with missiles. Or you could get teleport supply drops when in closed off areas? This could make your ship actually relevant. Maybe customise it to apply different elemental attacks or ammo and health/shield drops? Who wouldn`t want to see their ship fly down from orbit and blow the crap out of a massive load of fallen?
