Before anyone starts raging I'm talking pve here. Everyone knows that arcblade is a little on the weak side when it comes to pve, its only purpose seems to be clearing out groups of small enemies. Well I was just down on earth doing a bounty when I struck a level 9 knight with arcblade and he took two hits to die. This wouldn't be of much note in itself but when I killed another with my lord high fixer I realised it was dealing more damage than arcblade was, it dealt 715 per headshot as opposed to arcblade's 632
This is a problem, what is the point of running in and slashing at enemies if I can do just as much damage, at a similar fire rate without the risk of being swarmed. It completely kills the effectiveness of arcblade, to the point where I only really use it for the invisibility now. If a super forces you to get up close and personal it should be effective enough to warrant the risk. This idea also applies to the striker's fist of havoc but as it deals all the damage in one hit the user isn't exposed for as long.
Suggestion: Give arcblade a damage buff or something that increases its effectiveness against tougher enemies in pve, while keeping it balanced in pvp where it works fine as it is.

I think you should get a perk that gives you a chance to dodge damage from melee attacks.
