All of you Halo 4 deniers!
Just to let you guys know, the Halo series isnt thrown out of the window yet, so there still is a chance to be a Halo 4. Just ask Frank himself. In a interview for one of them gaming magazines he said that there still is a chance. PLUS no one from Bungie EVER denied the fact there was going to be a Halo 4.

yeah u hold up some points, but the fact that no one from bungie never denied it, doesnt mean its a complete guarantee either. i love halo the halo series and would like to see it continue, but i doubt there will be a HALO 4.

Maybe at the end of playing Halo: Reach after the credits they will go to the future time where cheif is in the pod drifting toward the planet and show what happens to him....that way they can show what happens to him without having to make a game which mighthave a drastically weird plot which could ruin the saga i mean really what could the game be about? the covenant is shaterred most of their armies are dead and whats left is either in civil war, confused, trying to restore order, licking their wounds or alone the flood would be not fun as a main enemy we have seen too much of them, they should stay dead for once the forerunners would be cool but how would that work? NOTE: Im sure this looks confusing and has lots of misspells but its late and Im tired.

If there is another Halo game (other than Reach) I really hope its not called Halo 4.

Microsoft will desginate a developer to make Halo 4. They own the rights to Halo and they don't care if they ruin the series for the loyal fans. They will just make sequel after sequel after sequel ala Nintedo and Mario.

I can see 343 Industries developing (or overseeing development of) a Halo sequel sometime around the launch of the next Xbox console, but Bungie have confirmed numerous times that after Reach, they're done with the Halo franchise. So yes, we might see Halo 4 at some point in the not-too-distant future, but Bungie won't be involved with it. [Edited on 10.03.2009 3:31 PM PDT]

wat is going on? halo 4? who would he even fight? forerunner tech? that sounds like a blast, not. The war is over, maybe we will get to knw wat planet he is drifting toward but a halo 4? No. Halo: reach is going to be just as good as a halo 4 anyway. However, i dnt think bungie will stop at reach even though they have said that they will. (right?) I think reach will sell more copies then halo 3 and this mass amount of money might change their minds.

If Bungie really planned to be completely done with Halo they wouldn't put in cliffhangers. For now I'm taking this in the same light as the many times George Lucas has said that Star Wars was done and all the times Hideo Kojima was done with Metal Gear.

Read carefully, [i] Any Future Halo Projects Will Be Handeled By Microsoft's New 343 Industries company[/i], the same people who are doing the Anime series and Waypoint. Save for Reach, Bungie is done with Halo. Really. No more. (By the Way, where did Valve come from, Last Post?)

I think there is a good possibility for another halo game, although, It might not be based on halo itself. Maybe the covenant, or the forerunners and how they made everything, the problems(flood), solutions, the spark machine thing, or what would happen to Master Chief himself, i mean a lot could could come, maybe different, maybe not, Bungie and Valve are the most interesting and surprising companies I've seen so far. So yes, a good possibility, then again maybe not based on the weapon "Halo" itself.

There will be no halo 4! some people are just so stupid it almost amuses me, if they do make more halo games it will be more based on the book, yeah john-117 was pretty cool on the halo game, but it would be so much cooler if you were a squad of spartans(hopefully halo : Reach will let you be different spartans for campaign and firefight, not multiplayer cause it would unbalance it, like choose out of kelly-087 and john-117[all i can think of right now...]) so yeah NO HALO 4!!! what would it be about!?! If there was a halo 4 it would most likly be like sims... and when bungie is done with the halo universe, im sure they can develop another good game in time

Yes, but Bungie DID deny that THEY wouldn't make Halo 4. That's the difference. After Reach, Bungie will no longer make another Halo video game Awe shucks.
