March Playlist Update

ok for one grifball is awesome had a blast playing it, but could you fix the court so people cant jump over the wall and leave the bomb out side the court? and i would love to se that as a perm game!

Great update overall, not so sure about the mixed party feature though, i went in me being an 8 ( new account) >.< and my friend a 10 in doubles and we got a 47 and 31 so not entirely sure how that was fair, but we won obvs

Totaly agree with U Kap4310. I've never played griftball before, until I played it this weekend. I'm addicted to it. I hope Bungie will do another griftball weekend!

Grifball weekend was so much fun...except for all the @$$hats that cared only about Recon. I swear I heard one prepubescant say "I hate Grifball, but I'm only playing it so I can have Reckon"...yes, he pronounced it as "Reckon" as in: I reckon that guy is farther from mr than the other guy. I must've been yelled at for them scoring when there was nothing I could do (betrayed, too far away, killed by opponent) in at least ten matches until I turned off my headset. Those types of players ruined the experience for me a little. Personally, I didnt care if I got the armor or not. swear to Gawd I dont care, I played the hopper because I love Grifball. the possibility of winning armor, and double exp, was just a perk. Thanks for a great playlist Bungie, cant wait for SWAT

You (Bungie) said there will be prizes because this hopper (grifball) is being treated like a tournament hopper. But what my question is will every weekend hopper be considered like a tournament hopper?

Yea keep grif ball - but swatt ? sure swatt is great with your friends on xboxlive playing your custom varriations of map - but... what about trying to play swatt online with a bunch of cheaters using standby or what. Seriously half my ranked games are affected by stupid server problems - today on lonewolves i joined a match then suddenly i was the only one in the room and won by default....

I deffinatly agree about the melee response time on grifball - mind you I haven't experienced as much lagg as I have on big team or any ranked match. In the end grif ball is more about stratagy of the ball carrier with help from the deffense - so as long as they arent glitching arround the court the lagg shouldn't be unbearable.... but yea the response time is terrible - i havent once managed to kill someone using the hammer with my sword - now on any ranked match that would be easy as pie... just my opinion tho... edit: .... but im not complainning - I love grif ball and find it hillarious hearing the enemy on proximity speakers .... Theres been times my team that would get partied with me would make me laugh so hard i was crying and almost choaking for air the whole game - Im pretty sure the opposing team was laughing too... It's too bad the court is so small - if it were designed in the lengh of foundry instead of it's width you could have teams of 5. or 6 and more football like plays with the deffense and offense... grifball is great! i got two killionaires! i would never have gotten further from killtrocity if not for it, however, the downside is that it is a melee game, i has a bad connection and i have the same melee problem as before the update, just that its lag, not health. bungle should make some way for people with bad connections to be able to match up with those with better connections. i hate it when it clearly shows i hit the guy first and i die!

grifball is fun and all...but not when the other team cheats and gets the ball outside of the map. i absolutely hate when the people i'm playing against cheats. i lost some matches because of that and i hate it.

Hey guys - made a new account last night hopping to jump in rank quickly - everything was fine till i came across terrible lag problems - once again. No it wasen't big team - although I highly agree with the users on this thread who said they've seen problems with BTB. This was lonewolves. I cant wait to get a video of this tonight - I was getting beat down over and over and there was noone in front of me - and it wouldnt say " so and so killed you" picture me running arround the pit with a needler sending needles in every direction to hopefully keep jumping in every direction but mine.... There was at least 3 ppl in the match that werent lagging, but i think they were still freaking out of lagg when i managed to kill them.... Everytime i would kill someone my score wouldnt update - this happend until at least half the match was over and someone finaly got kicked out. Im almost possitive the person bungie kicked out was stand-bying because after he got kicked my score was back - I went from no kills to at least 10... Im pretty sure i ended up winning the match despite the lagg... but still comme onnn'. I read this thing today before a lonewolves game " Bungie see's you cheating" - Maybe bungie see's them - but i got beat down over and over by someone who couldnt be seen -

Yes it really should be permanent, I played swat in halo 2 and it was awesome and immeadiatly when i saw no swat in halo 3 i set about making a game variant for it, slightly differing from the original but I haven't played it with anyone who dislikes it, so if Bungie decide not to make it permanent you can download mine from my fileshare, but I am hoping Bungie makes a much better one :D xD go for it Bungie!

Finally, the choice to play only Slayer in Heroic DLC. If only the same thing could be done about both BTBs. Looking forward to Rockets, Team Duals seems interesting and Team Duel... hm, never heard of that one.
