They're not going to change the bond. You realize this would involve removing all the current bond items, redesigning a whole new array of some new item from scratch and then replacing it? Not to mention there are plenty of people who like the bonds (me included) who don't want to see them taken away. You guys seriously think that having glowing light constructs/fire/electricity on your arm isn't cool enough? I see everybody saying they want 'cool gloves or sleeves instead'.. So gauntlets? You want sunbreakers? You can have them, and a bond. Not to mention the significance of the way the bond relates to memorial bands people wear on their arms for the deceased; the warlocks build their identity by using a symbol of death and remembrance, I think it's awesome. I would be horribly disappointed to see the bonds replaced.
