The raid countdown is not glitched, broken, ect. It stops at zero for a reason. If it sent your team back to orbit then it would reset the raid, thus allowing you to do the raid again and receive the chests/loot again. I see people posting and complaining about this all the time. If you didn't get chatter white, chances are your shader inventory is full so delete some shaders BEFORE you beat Antheon.
