Saying that she dresses like a slut is sexist. I'm not sorry if that offends you. But it's true. We should be free to dress how we please. If I want to wear just a tube sock over my dong, or if she wants to wear a miniskirt, we should be free to do this without people assuming that we sleep with any number of people. Screw these puritanical standards that say sex and sexuality are bad. Guess what, there is no devil, you aren't wrong for popping a boner, and she isn't wrong for dressing the way she does. You and that old man are the problem.

  •
Saying that she dresses like a slut is sexist.
So then if she wears tight ass leggings which aren't even paints, a tanktop which exposes a lot of cleavage and if she bends over her tits hang you wouldn't consider that slutty to an extent? Lets say she wore a shirt that says "Cum dump" on it and a miniskirt with no undies under would you say she's dressing like a slut?
We should be free to dress how we please.
Yes people are able to dress how they please, but that still doesn't mean the way you dress doesn't reflect back at you. The people that have their pants sagging look like idiots. They may be smart, but the way they have their pants doesn't look smart or cool at all. It looks trashy and idoit. What's so cool about having your boxers exposed like that?

  • Did I stutter? People should be able to dress how they want without being shamed.

  • And people are going to judge them for the way they dress. Like I said if a girl wears a shirt that says "Cum dump" on it people are going to think she's a slut since most younger and up to date people know what the word "cum" is meaning there. What's going to fill that role even more is if she wears the miniskirt along with it. If people don't want others to be judging them and making remarks about them. Then they shouldn't be dressing in a way that represents what they're dressing like. If I wear a shirt that has a bunch of holes in it and dirty pants with holes in them people are going to think I'm homeless or at least trashy. If somebody walks up to me and says I dress like shit or at least mumbles it when I walk by,. Should I get upset over that since I should have known the way I'm dressing is representing what I look like?

I also have a right to wear all red in some parts of LA, but that doesn't mean I won't be shot full of bullets by Crips because I'm seen as a threat. I also have a right to walk down the streets of San Francisco wearing a sign that says I HATE GAYS,' but that doesn't mean I won't be looked upon as a bigoted, prejudiced asshole. You have a right to your choices. I also have a right to judge you for those choices.

  • Bloods wear red. You're thinking about Crips filling you full of holes if you wear all red. Bloods might kick your ass if you wear too much red because you're claiming when you're not in the gang.

It's the same type of logic. You're saying people should be able to freely dress and not get hated for it not matter how bad it looks. His example is that people should be able to freely speak their opinions no matter how bad they are and not get hated for it. Both things are people expressing themselves through the choices they made.

  • Choices are choices. Some are more extreme than others, but the bottom line is that everyone has the right to do whatever they wish. I also have the right to judge one for their actions, however.

The question was never whether or not you or any one else has a legal right to your judgments but whether those judgments are unfair, unreasonable, and inherently sexist. I don't even know how your examples make any sense to you. Are you blaming innocent victims for being shot, simply because they wore red shirts? This is a serious question, because that's exactly what happens every day when women are subject to sexual assault, and their clothing choices are deemed inappropriate by privileged men with sticks up their asses. Do you actually think it makes any sense what so ever to reduce choices to the mere fact that they are choices, and reason about choices as if they are all the same? Your second example is a form of hate speech, in which one individual passes a ignorant judgment on another person, and then broadcasts that humiliating, dehumanizing opinion to the people to whom it is addressed. Of course they are going to be judged as bigots, because they are in fact expressing bigotry in it's purest, most transparent form. The judgment that they are " bigoted, prejudiced assholes" is therefore an accurate judgment. While this is an awful analogy to people wearing a particular article of clothing, it's actually quite a good analogy to the judgement, to which you cling to. See that is where your argument collapses on itself, and it becomes evident that you haven't really said any thing of any significance what so ever. No one is suggesting that you, or any one else don't have the legal right to the judgments you choose to have, they are judging you on your ignorant, bigoted, sexist opinions based on their merits, which by your own reasoning is well within their rights as well. Every sentence you spoke in defense of your right to judge people for their actions, and your second example, equally supports Tyler's right to judge your judgments, and your choice to vocalize those judgments, as "sexist". The question ultimately boils down to a critical analysis of your judgments, their validity, and their fairness. It is not necessarily true that a women who shows more skin, has a more promiscuous life style, you are not likely to make such an association with men showing more skin, nor is it at all clear that there is a valid reason to judge women for having a more promiscuous life style in the first place. They're not hurting you, or any one else. Your judgments or perhaps more accurately the judgments society tends to have, places unfair expectations on women, and shame them for doing things that men do openly with no, or at least significantly less issue. It is not any given women's fault that random, non reproductive parts of her body, like her lower thigh, belly button, or the sides of her chest have been heavily sexualized by our culture, in part because far too often women are painted as sexual objects and status symbols to be possessed by men, in much of pop culture. It is not fair that women through out our society should have to cover up significantly more than men in order for their choices to be respected. Really this is the same breed of sexist double standards that we see all around the world, even if we've made significantly more progress than a lot of places.

No, they are not, if someone dresses like a skank, they should and will be labeled as one by society. If you dress with a "Tube sock" over your "dong" I have every right to tell you that you look -blam!-ing disgusting and that you are a disgrace to civilized society. You are a -blam!-ing idiot and I hope you die in pain. Muted.
