You don't necessarily need Xbox Live Gold to play Destiny. This is if you only want to be able to play campaign missions by yourself and have no one i play with. If you want to play multiplayer and play with a group/fire team then you will need Xbox Live Gold. Xbox live silver will not allow the online gaming so you will need Xbox Live Gold for any online and multiplayer gaming. For any further help reply to my post or direct message me!
