Why should it? A little thing called planning ahead. I upgraded COD Ghosts almost 3 months before I got an X1. If you can afford to be dumb enough to buy a game twice on separate consoles, plus the cost of the new console/membership, you can hold off getting it, or definitely afford it again. You might be behind, but would it be that, or be out $60+ and exclusives. Your choice. DLC is applied to the hard drive, not a profile. If it was, some hacker could be playing on your profile, and delete all your data. You have to think, it is for our own safety (and to prevent illegal transfers, etc to other consoles). Heck, most of the time now: no Internet=no access to dlc you downloaded=no gameplay, period (now that is stupid IMO).
