Sooo the level cap is....

Based on a interview with Bungie yesterday. It has been said the level cap is 30. How do yall feel about that? And how long do you think it will take you to reach it? Update: I thought it was common knowledge that the soft level cap is 20, I was wrong. So to clarify soft level cap is 20 and a max level of 30. Check the article here

 • Doesn't really matter to me. Sure its not that big compared to other mmorpg's, but just by saying that you're assuming that destiny's level system is identical to all those other mmorpg's. The fact that the only thing level determines is what enemies you can fight and what gear you can wear is another thing. If all level is a system of determining your power ratio against enemies, does it really matter what the cap is? Also, they've stated several times that the game's focus is on horizontal progression, not vertical progression. Even once you hit lvl 20 you still got tons more stuff to do. You can stop worrying about which gun deals the most damage and start aiming for what feels comfortable. They're making the level process shorter than other games so you can get to the loot hunting and top tier activities sooner. For that reason, I see no need to make the level cap bigger. Would you really want the 80 levels of borderlands 2 to go through before you find your first exotic or attempt a raid?
