People don't seem to understand why they're doing the ice bucket. It has nothing to do with the disease. They are doing it because it is silly and stupid, and it is giving the charity visibility. In a world where there are thousands of charitable foundations a cause needs to stand out. The Ice Bucket Challenge makes this stand out and people are having fun with it and donations are coming in. That anyone could be against this baffles me.
