Character Creation is KILLING me!
Yes. It's true. A huge thing for me in games is the customization. And I cannot start the game until I am 100% in love with how my character looks. I need him to be unique and in my head fit how I myself would like to be as a guardian (as childish as that may sound) Hell, even in the beta I had to start over three or four times haha. I just cannot quit thinking about this F------ game and how I'm going to make my final character. ( I don't like making multiple ones) I love the Exo's but the awoken also look nice. The humans are also an option that never gets old. I wish there was some kind of preview generator for characters. God something is wrong with me.. I love you bungie... I hate you bungie..

3 RepliesMy one problem with character creation is that dances were legitimately a factor in which race I chose, I wish that was changed.

Same here that's why I like RPGs so much you have fun by making your character armor and tree skills form the way you play that's why I like sky rim a lot

11 RepliesI liked Mass Effects CC more, but the hair styles were TOO tame and military (duh he is a soldier). I like the hair in Destiny, but no beards? Really? Not even 5 o'clock shadow? Spent HOURS in Skyrim character creation! Atleast I could change with the dlc in the sewer...tavern...place. What was it called? Rats-Den? The Thieves Guild base...you know?

hell ya, its one of the reasons i love these type of games. The character you are building will represent you in that world. The more options the better. FFXIV had a pretty fun with many options while WOW was quite limited, but still had enough to separate you from the rest if you wanted. Destiny is also a bit limited, but the options for each race are very different. I am heavily leaning human because i like the idea of humans still being around in the far future, but Awoken is still in the running. I will not be an EXO... ever

I just hope the options in the beta are a part this "tip of the iceburg" cause they need way more options :( But as of right now im stuck on how i wanna go. I wanna be a human but all the male faces and hair selection are just ehe and they definitely need beards The femail human on the other hand, has badass looking dreads! Then you got the exo which are just badass, would be sweet to have a no helmet option so you can have your exo face with the hood up like some of the characters in the story. But as a nerd i really wanna be a mail human hunter for my main build and playthrough. Probably a femal awoken warlock and a male exo titan because i wanna play all classes for sure. I will be at that character create menu for a while battling choices, haha too excited for this game!

I think this is funny. I never understood why people like to make characters because you can't even see them. Especially in a game like destiny where you are looking at the back of the head most of the time. Having said that, last time I played dark souls 2 I got into character-making and now I enjoy it too. I definitely don't enjoy it as much as you do, though I finally understand the appeal...but for the life of me still can't figure out why.
