This is for all the xbox one users that have trouble with downloading games because of internet and want to play them faster after launch instead of wait hours to play the game due to how long it takes to install.
Step 1: Disconnect from internet. Make sure to be signed into your profile still. (If you have already put the disc in disconnect from internet than turn off your console than turn it back on.)
Step 2: Put disc into console. Wait for 10-20 minutes until game is done installing. Do not reconnect to internet until it's done installing.
Step 3: After installing is done reconnect to internet. If there are updates go ahead and update it it shouldn't take that long.
Step 4: Start playing the game.
This is a faster way because when your connected to the internet the game wants to install from the internet and it also puts any updates that were out on top of it.
I hope this helps :)

It works faster because when connected to the Internet you are installing from disc while installing the patch from online. For some reason this slows it down cause it's doing both at the same time. Disconnecting makes it into two steps. It has nothing to do with the game trying to install from online, it's the patch that slows it down.

Step 1: Get a PS4.

Wow is this legit? Wait, your name says it IS legit. Thanks, had no idea it worked like that! (should have known when it took 3 hours to install AC 4 on Time Warner internet)

What kind of shitty internet do you have? It takes me less than 20 minutes to install a game on my One. even with the internet connected. Maybe check out some better internet. I have Fiber, and even with installing from disc and having the One look for any update imaginable, I'm taking less than 20 to complete a DL/Install.

So when connected to the Internet it tries to add the patch onto the install in one download. When disconnected it downloads the game then you reconnect it and it downloads the update. Correct me if I'm wrong but it sounds like you're adding needless steps to a process that is the same either way.
