Am I The Only One?
I feel like I'm the only one who doesn't mind everything Bungie has announced. No Split-screen, Fireteam sizes, the Crucible, and no private matches. Don't get me wrong, it's a pity we don't have Private matches or split-screen, but personally, I never expected there to be Private matches. Just kind of how I feel on the matters.

I'm more interested in their new game than I am in having their game be like their old games. It seems strange, not to have private matches - but, I'm not too worried about it because I am much more interested in Bungie's storytelling than competing against other clans. I understand the competitive players are disappointed, and I hope they find ways to enjoy Destiny - even though it isn't going to be the #1 game they play.

Nope, I'm fine with it as well. Actually the friends I'll be playing the game with are also fine with it. However it's a "to each their own" situation. You have a lot of different people therefore different interests, wants, expectations, etc.

Im kinda with you on that. Like when I played destiny none of these things crossed my mind or bothered me until it was brought up in the forum and even then I still dont care that much. Dont get me wrong though it would still be really sweet to see those things added in a later version of destiny or something.

I love everything about Destiny, loved the beta but I have to say....the lack of private matches is disappointing. There are large groups of friends and clans who would love to run private tournaments and such and without private matchmaking they will not be able to do it....don't get me wrong here.....I love the game and will still play the PVP but I believe private matches and clan wars should definitely be added in. There are some days where I just don't want to be thrown in with randoms and would like to just play with friends.

I find it weird that the company which revolutionized matchmaking seems to be lacking in hat department. I also find it odd that they decided to make it 30fps for console parity. I mean wouldn't the better experience on next gen consoles sell more next gen consoles?

Nope I'm fine with everything, bungie is trying to get out of its usual mold IMO and this game will do it for them. Everybody just expects these things because it's a bungie game.

1 ReplyI'm pretty much same as you. My only bugged gripe with the so far is the lack of 'socialisation' within the game. Though it seems that Bungie have taken this into consideration from feedback on forums and hopefully it will be much better upon full release.

5 RepliesI couldn't agree with you more! Bungie is building their new IP in their vision so that we can get the most from it. Yes, this has gone wrong with other developer's games in the past, but typically those games hadn't allowed us to test the game before release. I fully trust Bungie's creative vision as well as their mechanic decisions on what to include or not to include. I, for one, enjoyed my short-lived Beta experience. I'm looking forward to going star side and hunting for wizards from the moon so 9/9 can't come soon enough! That being said, I think if there was one thing we could all really agree on, I think it would be that Bungie needs to add more Permadeath to the game. This would not only build a stronger level of immersion with our Guardians, but really foster an attachment to each of our Guardians however short lived they may be. :)

Fire team size bothers me for story mode because I have to choose which friends to play with. A team of at least 4 would have made it easier.
