Clansite - Prototype (Feedback/thoughts most welcome)

So here is a prototype of the site I've been working on. I'd love to gear what you guys think. Let me know your thoughts and if covers all your needs. Obviously only a working prototype not 100% and has no actual functionality in terms of signing up/logging in etc but you get the jist. It will be mobile and tablet friendly, but is only about 60% complete on that front. Looking forward to some feedback.

Absolutely incredible and just from what it is, seems as though it would fit the clan's needs perfectly. The website should be a marketing tool. It should promote the clan in so much as encouraging new members and, equally as important, instill a sense of pride in existing members. The website prototype has a nice design to it and is elegant in its simplicity. The website also needs to be functional. Here you show that (once functional) the website will allow people to create an event and be listed as the fireteam leader and people will be able to sign up for those events. This is front and center on the site, the perfect spot. No hunting in a forum, it is right there. If this feature is accessible on a tablet or mobile device, all the better. Kudos on this concept! Below this primary functionality tool you have miscellaneous data, a clan description, you tube videos and even a twitter gadget. This is great flow to the website. You first see the art, then the primary functionality, then all the details including news updates. You may already be planning on it, but since this is just a prototype is is hard to tell so I'll just put it here since you're looking for feedback. For the "CLAN MEMBERS (#) GUARDIANS (#)" gadget just below the "About Aspect" section, it would be great if this had links to view individual member statistics from the Bungie website once made available post launch. Not something that will be functional come 09/09 I'm sure, but post launch it would make a great website feature if possible. I'd love to browse clan member information and feats without having to go away from the clan website to view information. One other thought. I hate forums. (you might not know it, but I really do) I don't want to be reading and responding to posts on a forum after the game goes live, I want to be playing the game and ignoring everything except the game that is right in front of me and my other fireteam members. They deserve that kind of attention so I don't wipe the group! BUT, a chat room/wall would be neat. That way someone can post something like, "hey, I'll be off work a little late at 6pm PST tonight and wanting to run some crucible if anyone is up for it." This is FAR from a necessary component though, especially when you can just link to these forums as our "clan" forums even after the website launches if you wanted to. It is just a thought. This is likely where people will go to look for a clan, so keeping some kind of presence on Bungie.net is still important. Overall, I just really want to say thanks. I spent over 100 hours and $400 developing a website for a Rift guild back when Rift first launched, and 2 months after launch the guild folded. I've never been able to put the time into a website again and really lost touch with "the art of it." I have great respect for those who put the effort into websites for gaming guilds/clans though as a result. So again, thanks. Having a website makes the clan feel "whole" because it, in a way, provide a foundation for the group.
