Light stat which u see on legendary armor is a character lvl boost that increases all of the lvl scalings, it is also needed to equip exotic gear which has lvl requirement over 30. Moats of light are the currency used to buy gear off of the speaker. Strange coins are the currency used to buy exotic gear from agent of the nine i think the name was he/she was spawn blocked in alpha and beta u need 8 or 9 coins per exotic.
