why does everyone associate hunters with immature kids??
Every class has immature people and just let people choose what they want in the game without hating on them. If someone wants to be a hunter because of the cloak.. WHO CARES! And many people use hunters because of the abilities btw.. Like me for instance

Personally, I think being a hunter requires more skill. You have to aim precisely with only three bullets. You can't just slam into the ground and call it a day. All classes are awesome, but the hunter, in my opinion, is the most badass.

One of the reasons I play as a Hunter is because I view the very nature of them to be more mature and mysterious (bounty/treasure hunter, rogue, assassin, pro killer, etc.).

In WoW there's a class called 'Hunter'. For a long time and for many reasons, Hunters were ridiculed because so many 'noob' moments were facilitated by hunters. Part of that was a design flaw, the other part was that Hunter was super easy to play compared to the other classes and allowed for a higher probability for noobness. Here is just a couple of examples that lead to this outcome: 1. Hunters took very little skill to play, auto attacking or using buttons to exit the battle when things looked bad for them. 2. Hunters could equip any weapon, but they really didn't USE the weapon for anything other than the stats on it as their primary weapon was a ranged weapon which no one else used. Commonly a hunter rolling and winning a weapon (gear wasn't streamlined, if you got something, you took it away from someone else) that other people needed just so he could have bigger numbers was kind of a dick move. I'm sure you could google: "Hunter weapon" and find more than a few hits. Now I dunno if much WoW bullying of hunters has transitioned into this game, but if you saw any remarks about it, there may have been some jokes pertaining to the history with the title "Hunter" stemming from WoW. :3

Because the 'kids' see the rugged outlaw, living on the edge, don't need no man, the shadow drifter, waiting for the perfect moment. You know, that corny bizz. And people are arbitrarily associating certain weapons to certain classes even when there's no reason to. Like the hunter is OBVIOUSLY a sniper. 'Snipers' in general are usually plagued by younger people wanting to be the guy getting all the awesome headshots. That archetype has u fortunately been slapped onto the hunter by default. There has also been a LOT of people ogling at and admitting to just wanting to use the blade dancer perk to stealth and snipe all match. So yeah. I'd say all that combines into a strong case for why people might think that. personally I'll probably be playing a hunter because both specs interest me while I'm only interested in one spec for both titan and warlock. I think titan will be the most popular competitively in the crucibal purely because they are significantly hardier than the other two. and the hunter will be the most popular with streamers/montage youtubers/younger crowd because they are flashier. leaving warlocks somewhere in the middle. Obviously there will be overlap but that's just what I personally predict.

1 ReplyYeah I will use the hunter because its the fastest character and I like stealthy approaches. Yet it doesnt matter what you will say, many will still call hunters immature 12 year olds etc. I seriously dont give a damn how my char looks, all classes look cool and are unique in their way.
