  • Come on man really a link to an unofficial blog site. You need to stop believing everything you read on net wait till bungie actually post something like they did about our beta characters getting deleted

  • You realize anyone could have mined this information from the beta, right? The full game isn't even released so there's no way for someone to have their hands on the build. Bungie keeps their secrets locked up tight so don't even tell me this was from an insider. Hell we don't even know why Marty was fired.

It is likely so. Only 6 strikes? Do you honestly believe that? Do you honestly believe that Vault of Glass is the only raid in the game when you have at some point given that you were following Bungie hear them say "Vault of Glass is the most difficult raid in the game and the most difficult experience we have ever created in a shooter here at Bungie". And given that the game has been in development since before Halo 3: ODST launched, you believe it would have so little content. And do you honestly believe that with all the biased arguments and rumors going back in forth on the internet? There is just too much evidence against there being only what's in that article. Fun fact: People will believe anything they see on the internet. Google is God. We ask it everything. Where do you think people found the article? They didn't hear about it from Bungie, now did they?

  • Why should we believe that there is more content that is currently proposed?

Because no one has their hands on the full build. Didn't I mention this? Are you seriously going to believe this: http://thedestinyblog.com/2014/07/27/report-destiny-will-have-22-story-missions-11-crucible-maps-6-strikes-4-exploration-areas-and-1-raid-at-launch/ which anyone could have mined from the beta and just the beta alone mind you, over what bungie has previously stated and has yet to reveal? A lot of that information has already been revealed. Only things worth mentioning from mining the beta are basically items and gear that you couldn't acquire in the beta such as ships for example. Remember, this was a testing build. Bungie wouldn't just include their full game in a test enviroment. They wouldn't even be able to do that given that much of the game's content is still in production.

  • I highly doubt there will be a lot more content then what is currently being proposed. People have fun overhyping the size of destiny for a long time. This seems accurate.

@ zShankedz: Agreed. I feel some sympathy for the eager souls that have drunk well, truly, and deeply from the "Destiny" hype gatorade fountain. I get it. You end up being taken with something (or someone) to the point that you build it up, place it on a pedestal, and wish, want, will it to be the greatest thing since sliced bread. Sometimes it turns out that way. Sometimes (less frequently) that something blows our expectations out of the water. Sometimes (more frequently) the reality of a product just isn't quite able to carry the weight and pressure a prolonged hype train has created. I suspect that quite a number of people will be somewhat disappointed by the actual scope, breadth, and depth of "Destiny" - at least upon release. Will it be a terrible game? I suspect not, yet I also highly doubt it will be this mythical game-of-all-games mastodon that some around this forum seem to think it will be. I take no pleasure in that observation; the greater the game, the better it is for all who harbour any interest in it. Sadly, I think "Destiny" will be a solid game of limited scope that will sell well at launch, though it will leave many with a small-to-medium after-taste of disappointment.

People also have fun belittling it in anyway they can. Whether it's overhyping something or the opposite, it's a trend that happens with just about anything that's famous. And they both tend to happen at once. People have opinions. They either like something, or they don't, and there are those who just enjoy making fun of it or trolling people.
