Bungie already announced new content comes out every week for the game, who knows what type of stuff that means. In he end, we could have hundreds of different activities to choose from, with double the amount of weapons and armor we originally had!

Beta builds are usually months old and are lacking stuff that is in the current builds that in-house testers, etc are using. Bungie themselves stated somewhere that the beta build we all played was several months old and not actually the current build they, themselves, were working with. More importantly (and I am surprised nobody else has picked up on this) is that we had about 70% of Old Russia to explore and only 5 story missions. That leaves another 30% of the map left to be opened up and shown. Also, mission 5: The Last Array. We go looking for the Warmind, Ghost confirms that it is Rasputin and he is still up and running. The story missions ended on that note. Obviously, it would be detrimental and silly to leave a plot thread of that significance just hanging with no further fleshing out. Then the first mission on the Moon had [i]absolutely nothing to do with Rasputin.[/i] If you can connect the dots, in this case 30% of Old Russia left unexplored and Rasputin introduced and set up to be an important figure/NPC for the Old Russia/Tower/Collapse of the Golden Age and then not followed up on, one realizes that there are at least 2-4 more story missions in Old Russia revolving around Rasputin. That arc was not satisfactorily resolved in any way from the 5 missions we saw in the Beta. Also Rasputin is introduced in the mission: Warmind. Then shown to be active in mission 5: The Last Array. Use some common sense in this regard folks. Why would Bungie set up Rasputin, indicate he is important, a relic from the Golden Age, show that he is alive and kicking and fighting still only to just abandon that plot thread after 2 missions with no resolution very, very early in Destiny's story missions? Answer: Bungie wouldn't do that. They are better story crafters than that. Long story short, don't trust data mined crap from a beta build that was at least 2 months out of date when we played it and was maybe 1/4 (and 1/4 is being fairly generous here) of the actual size of the game in terms of download size. Common sense, logic... use them.

This data is only partial, what can we know about the complete game only looking at a Beta that wasn't even big as the Old Russian stage itself? We want to know as soon as possible the real entity of this game but this is pure speculation.. A Beta wasn't and will never be something that could sum up a game and this Beta, even if it is as big as a normal AAA game, is not different from the others. Bungie can change all and nothing from the Beta because it was a test!! A test to see what worked fine and what won't work and has to be cut off. The fact that Bungie deleted our characters from the Beta is probably related to important changes in the game.. They would have never deleted them for futile motives. Ergo the final game will be different from what we saw I can guarantee it

14 RepliesI'm a bit disappointed that the only Earth location explorable is Old Russia. I wanted to see other "Old World" locations in America/Asia/Europe. But in the future who knows? Also I wonder where the "Last City" is located? Near Old Russia?

Actually, I believe this information is for the complete "beta" version of the game. We only got a sample of it. The actual game is quite a few months ahead in it's development meaning there's going to be a lot more we've yet to hear about. DestinyDB shows all of the armor and weapons available in the beta version, my favorite is the "heart of the praxis fire" for reasons. Anyway, in a lot of trailers I've been seeing gear that wasn't available in the beta version, mostly on the Titan, and that makes me really wonder what else do we have yet to see?.

2 RepliesIf we only got half of this, it would still easily be worth $60/£50, just what do people expect to get for their money. I and many others out there have paid full wack for a game that didn't give as much as the Destiny Beta gave us.

3 RepliesThis information is very old. All this data is from a beta code which is several months old. This is not the exact list of everything and bungie themselves stated that the information we mined was not everything. All this does is give a rough idea of what we will be playing with.
