For ours it is simply expanding your "friends list" to include guys in your timezone to raid and work in fireteams,, apparently there are maybe two achievements linked to completing missions with a certain number of clanmates,, other than that its meeting new people who are interested in the same game and share in the adventure

Thanks for the info. I was actually hoping for a little more clan functionality than that. Oh well. Maybe there will be in the future.
