They deserve a better crit modifier. Less bullets than a scout which is the only comparison in the main weapon class and requires more skill at range to get headshots. Follow up shots require more skill and then every 6rounds your reloading. Time=valuable dps. Not much of a boost to crits but maybe an extra .5%
