A thing I've noticed is that few thread topics are about the game itself. I see all these threads complaining about nerfing/buffing stuff for crucible, beta progress, raid matchmaking, subclasses, weapon drops, armor, etcetera. These are things about the game, but not what the game is about.
What about playing the game, and how it made you feel? When you played the first level, awoke as a guardian, and wondered at what had happened to Earth? Delving into a boss's lair and wondering if you were up to the challenge. I'm not too cool to admit I'm still curious about the Traveler. Maybe the Traveler will not be fully understood.
I guess I'm old fashioned to still be marveled at the possible depth of this game, and how much there will be to see or explore. I could be naïve to think there is more to this than just a mindless shoot n' loot fest like Borderlands.

Even borderlands had better storytelling at this point...
