Edited by Horns: 7/30/2014 9:39:01 PMNot having matchmaking for endgame content is common practice. I remember when The Binding Coil was only 5 turns. There was no matchmaking for it. As the game grew and evolved and things like coil weren't as rigorous they started implementing it. I'm just not surprised by this news. Anyone that has tried anything remotely difficult in an MMO style setting will know how detrimental matchmaking can be. You could spend weeks trying to clear an objective and come up short with pugs. If you took the time to talk to some people after having assessed their gear you could come up with a group that could practice the raid and clear it within a couple of days. Or if their gear is weak you could work together to get them ready for the raid. This is what it's all about! This game is about community and this mechanic forces a dialogue that opens up said community to a common goal.
