It gets really awkward in the crucible as you have to run through small areas and rooms quite often and it is really hard to press L3 while pushing the left analog stick in the forward direction. It would be nice if we could toggle sprint On and Off with the push of a button (say L3) or maybe bind it to some other key altogether (not that there is any key which is unused, but still) or maybe we could use a couple of combinations for the key bindings.

The crucible was the worst for me. I can't tell you how many times I died because my character would not sustain running. From what I can tell the button is supposed toggle. So, you should be able to depress L3 with the stick leaned forward and should not need to maintain constant pressure on L3. So long as you keep the stick forward after pressing L3 your character should continue to sprint. As many of us noticed, this did not seem to work as well as it should have. I have my fingers crossed for more control options in the finished product, otherwise that will make playing Destiny on the PS4 very aggravating.
