"Weapons that require green ammo do significantly more damage then my melee attack."

First of all, when did I ever mention the basic melee attack? That's right, I didn't. I specifically spoke about the precision attaks with the Throwing Knife Class Ability. Which unlike melee attacks, allow for precision attacks in the first place. Don't put words in my mouth in a failed attempt to look witty. Second, as I have not actually said what you wrote, it doesn't belong in quotes. Learn proper grammar. Otherwise what you just did is technically slander. Third, This is #Feedback not #Destiny, where the premise is to give Bungie thought out and logical feedback on their game. Take your lackluster comments somewhere else and come back when you learn to post logical replies. You might try taking a lesson from HYPERSILVER7 whose comments actually mean something and have logically countered my opinion.

Also: slander is an oral statement. You're thinking of libel. It's also contingent on you proving damages.

Edited by Vacant Fanatic: 7/31/2014 6:16:41 PM"during the Beta I noticed in PVP that shotguns (and possibly fusion rifles?) could one hit kill someone while my throwing knife could not," Firstly the Devs call those class abilities "Melees". Don't believe me? Go check the IGN video demoing the lvl 29 builds. Secondly Throwing Knife, Storm Fist and Energy drain are analogous abilities. To compare those would be an apt comparison. To compare their effectiveness to the Shotgun, Sniper Rifle or Fusion Rifle is ridiculous. It's comparing apples and oranges. They are designed to do that much damage as the resource that powers them (green ammo) is limited and not on a cool down timer like your melee upgrade. To paraphrase: My melee upgrade does less damage than special weapons that need limited green ammo. Yes, of course it would. That's by design. Does that satisfy your pedantry?
