He was young, studying and training to join the ranks of the Warlocks. He was stubborn, though, short tempered too. His upbringing was harsh, so that's how he covered up the insecurity. All of that inner turmoil made it impossible to master advanced techniques. The Warlock was endlessly frustrated with himself. His master knew that he would have to find stability before moving forward, and ordered him to temporarily discontinue his work. Angered by this decision, the Warlock went against his masters wishes, and ventured into the wilderness alone to train. That day, the darkness came. The young Warlock was ambushed by abominations of the kind he could not have imagined. A swift blow blinded his right eye, and ended his life. As he lay dying, his blinded eye - it saw something. He saw into the Void. In what he thought was his last moment, he saw the very thing that would grant him the power to wield the Light with his full potential. It was this vision, this power that would draw his Ghost to him many years later. He regained his life, but the scars were still there. They were now a reminder of the power he would one day possess.
