Report: Destiny will have 22 Story missions, 11 Crucible maps, 6 Strikes, 4 Exploration areas, and 1 Raid at launch

1 ReplyI would ? The list because of locations we know exist on earth already. Where does the kings watch fit in? Where does the seraphim vault fit in? Or other closed off areas. The list says weve already done all of the earth missions but obviously we havent

I really hope that's not it. Bungie have hyped the shit out of the size of this game and frankly if that's all we get that is not acceptable. Don't get me wrong, I loved the beta, it was the best new game ive played since Halo. If old Russia is all there is on Earth then we have basically done everything on Earth apart from random pointless stuff like high levels guarding a chest in a tiny cave.

I'm so glad bungie let go of halo. Mistake after mistake they're making. Release the whole god damn game on release day. That is what release day. It's not to release another god damn beta.

Maybe that's why they don't want to be compared to an mmo, because they are in no way near big enough to compete. Imagine if Guild wars 2 released with 6 dungeon paths instead of 24, only 4 zones instead of 27, and 22 story missions instead of 100+ with all the variations. Hope those DLC packs are huge and come quickly. My super fancy ghost edition will feel like a waste if i burn through everything the game has to see in a few days and just end up grinding/repeating locations

So whats the highest level as of right now in the real game? It says above 20 for some of the modes so maybe 30? And maybe increase by 5 levels every expansion or whatever :P?

Where is the outrage that it's only 3v3 and 6v6? I learned from the internet that 6v6 is pure trash. Story missions sound pretty fat. I've been bitching at Bungie for better campaigns for a long, long time. Looking forward to see how it all pans out. Missions 1-5 were good, but not mind blown status. Played them on hard and beat them in 3 hours. Higher ranked enemies just seemed to suck more bullets instead of getting smarter. Still sounds like a lot of campaign content and that's what I'm after.

1 ReplyThat's awesome, that's a lot of entertainment for only $60, explorable areas, story missions, strikes, raids, PVP. Way better than most $60 games out now. Incredible content in beta if that's just a taste, it sounds delicious

I tough Destiny could be a really good PvE game with content n explore, but is nothing more than a PvP game with a small campaign in an open word, and the "secondary mission" in explore are a joke.

Reading this has made me think that the areas to explore aren't the only things to do and that there is more to this game than meets the eye.

7 RepliesThis was my 2nd most hyped game of the year (after dark souls 2 cuz its fking dark souls 2 yo). Spent 23h in the alpha. Over 40 in beta. Now, today,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, i r really ******* disappointed to hear this. I feared something similar would happen but didn't want to believe and bam it happened. How fking hard is it to make a strike? You take a portion of the explorable map, fill it with specific enemies, spawn a boss at the end and its done. How in the actual fk do we have only 6 strikes (5 on xbone/360)? WTF is this? Seriously if this game is smaller than something like Dragon's Dogma or Borderlands 1 it'll be the biggest disappointment in the past many years. And $10-20 dlc's/expansions isn't an excuse.
