Beta progress transfer to released game this fall?
I was just wondering, the Beta for Destiny recently came out earlier this week (for xbox 360 at least), and I was just curious about weather or not our progress in the beta would transfer over to the "Real Game" after it releases in stores and you play it on your console or not.
I just been playing the beta allot and have gained items, armor and weapons that are level 9+ and can't equip them (because the beta only let's you level up to only level 8) so I didn't know what to do with them but dismount them and sell them for glitters.
But now I've been hearing from others that the beta progress will transfer over to the real game, but I don't know if it's true or not. So now I've been storing the level 9+ items on my storage space back at the Tower.
Do you guys have any thoughts on this topic? Or know weather or not the progress will be transferred to the "real game" when it comes out this Fall?

3 RepliesThe Beta progress transfers over. You just have to create a new character when the final game comes out.

Well I for one think they should give us the option to choose for our selfs obviously there will be others who will choose to start over from scratch but I for one have fallen in love with my level one warlock. And if not let us keep our Guardians at least let us keep our items. Lets face it level 8 isn't so high I mean in a few hours you will be. Back in no time. So I don't really see a prob with them letting us keep our progress.

3 RepliesBungie's engineer Roger Wolfson has already made it clear. “Let’s say Destiny 2 [and] Destiny 3 are out, and we have new players joining the fun. [They] want to play those new games alongside those who have been playing Destiny from the beginning. [We want to ensure] they won’t feel like they’re four years behind. And then, if they want to, they’ll be able to go back and pick up the old content on their same character. So we’ve done a lot of planning for how that’s going to work, to not make people feel like they have years worth of levelling up to do.” What this means, players whom have not played the Beta does not have any disadvantages for have a late start. Hence, you know what this means ;)

3 RepliesProblem is, even with Deej hyping everything up, it got me excited. Major red flag is: when i got a daily reminder there will be a permanent present to everyone playing on Saturday 2pm. Which makes you question, soooo is none of this perm?
