There is a reason both teams spawn beside a turret. Hop in that instead of the interceptor and watch the easy vehicle kills come to you.
It's good level design.

Of course, but then what you are suggesting requires THOUGHT...and doesn't allow the run-and-gunners to run. So it doesn't solve the problem they want fixed.
