i DUNNO but this is like no mmo game I have ever played or beta tested so I have no idea how they are going to keep me wanting to play it, after beating the story? The only thing I can think of is they try and do what asheron's call did back in the msn turbine days have allot of live events. Back then which was damn near 20 years ago we had something like shadow spires invade our servers and we were invaded by shadows for awhile and on some days a MAIN event would happen we would attack one of these spires and try and drive them back/ err we would drive them back from one of our towns etc. When we were not doing this stuff we were grinding, crafting, or farming it does not look like we have crafting in this game to keep us occupied or just hunting, yet this game is a little easier than asherons call because I was a mage and if I was not buying components for my spells or trying to learn more spells I was worthless. having vitae sucked to by the way. So I am guessing we will have live events this big event on sunday I think will remind me of asherons call. I do really hope bungie knows what the hell they are doing. I do not think they have any idea how much they hyped the crap out of this game..

I did find out yesterday that crafting will exist in some capacity. So there's that.

yea that is good. I saw we can get dye for our suits I saw it at a shop in the town. Is there more than one town in the full game?

I also think the shaders (suit dye) should be way cheaper than they are and also allow access a general shader spectrum for free. The customization is just so so. I think allowing players from the start to change their coloring would help the player feel a little more unique.

I can just see lots of people looking the same. Its not that big of a deal to me much anymore, We are just going to have to see how this all falls into place in September, Bungie, either hits it out of the park, or Destiny becomes just another plateau game that has been designed to milk consumers for money. What bugs me thou is game designers almost 20 years ago could make addictive fun games without having the video game technology we have now. It is indeed one hell of a conundrum, for the gaming gamer. At my age I have seen the intellect design in games go down. I blame the advertisement of the games these days, I have come to figure out just like with movies is most of the time if their are millions spent on advertising the game/movie is meh, yet most good games/movies that are not advertised to hell, are decent or really good. Anyhow good thread bud, hopefully we will be here next year laughing about this thread.. :)

I guess that depend on what all is in store on the other planets. However, on Earth I'm fairly confident that the Tower is the only place like a town set up.
