Destiny: When will it become boring?

Ok. So my brother and I were talking about this and wondered how long will destiny be truly fun? We already know reaching the level cap of 20 will not be too terribly difficult and replaying old areas once your a higher level is not nearly as fun. Borderlands solution was enemies level up alongside you but that isn't really possible in online game such as this. So when the story is done, you've reached the level cap, and crucible has lost it's charm, what then? DLC's maybe?

I'm giving the story about two to three weeks of play unless they have add meaningful sub quests (or bounties) that are truly story related. I wouldn't mind a sub quest where maybe you have to search the map for needed spaceship parts without being pointed where they are. Maybe several different sub quests that are linked to together to give you clues as where to search. Yea we did the Warp drive mission but they could have made that a lot more enjoyable. There really isn't much to do with this game after finishing the story if you have no interest in PVP and it seems a major of players have no interest according to polls. Exploring mode isfor the most part boring. So you shoot and collect stuff. So what if you have finished the story and nothing to use the stuff for.
