Will I... Be lonely?

So, I'll start with a disclaimer. I'm not monetarily well off. Even getting the game is somewhat pushing the limits of my finances. I have an xbox 360 (Which I'm lucky to have even) and a crappy (But overpriced) Pc. Essentially my question is will I be alone? I see virtually no threads about console players from the prior generations who are getting this game. It's clear to me that this is going to be a game largely driven by a large population. So what's going to happen to those of us who don't have the luxury of owning a next generation console? Just wondered if any of you are in the same boat. It might make the game feel cooler, a few lone guardians united against the darkness. Instead of a horde of "Lol bro, kickass" Guardians that vastly outnumber the enemies. Thoughts?

  • You won't be alone. On a numbers basis, there are around 70 million XBox owners in the wold - versus maybe 7 million XBox One owners. So you could expect about 10 times as many people on Xbox 360 as XBox One - assuming the game plays decently on the last gen console. On a personal note, I just ordered Destiny for my Xbox 360 - and hope to get my Beta code soon to test play in late July. And I was thinking of going Xbox One, but after looking at the requested features page (started after E 3 2014 by MS) , it's pretty clear to me that XBox One has a lot of features missing that Xbox 360 already has. So spending $400 for a less capable (feature wise) console makes no sense at all to me.
